Lilit Safaryan is a fashion designer and industry expert with over 20 years of experience in couture and custom clothing. She graduated from Moscow State University of Design and Technology‚ as a pattern maker. After working for several years as a pattern maker and clothing designer, she moved to Milan, Italy to achieve her second master’s degree in fashion design from Istituto Europeo di Design. During this period, Lilit worked closely and trained with a number of famous fashion houses and designers from Brioni, La Perla, Jimmy Choo, CP Company, Stone Island and Henry Beguelin.
In 2005 “Lilit Safaryan” fashion line was launched.
Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Lilit moved around as a child and lived in Germany, Italy and Russia. After getting married, she moved to San Francisco Bay Area to live with her husband.
Inspired by local, natural styles, Lilit opened “Lili Safarini” bridal boutique in Berkeley with intention to create unique, couture gowns for local brides.
From a very young age Lilit was fascinated by Art. She started to make art pieces for family and friends as a hobby. In 2019 and 2020 Lilit applied to participate at the Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition and her works were selected two years in a row. Another of Lilit’s pieces was presented at the Berkeley Art Center in January 2020.
